Effective Date: September 8, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, how PeptideDosages.com uses them, and how you can manage your cookie preferences. This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which provides additional detail on how we handle your personal information.
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, tablet, or phone) by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites function properly, improve performance, remember your preferences, and provide information to site operators. Cookies are stored in your web browser and can be read by the website that created them on subsequent visits.
In addition to cookies, websites may also use similar technologies such as local storage and session storage. These work in a similar way by storing small amounts of data in your browser. Throughout this policy, “cookies” refers to both traditional cookies and these similar storage technologies unless otherwise noted.
Types of Cookies We Use
Essential cookies
These cookies are strictly necessary for the site to function. Without them, core features like user login, account access, and form security would not work. Essential cookies include:
- Session cookies: These keep you logged into your account as you navigate between pages. They expire when you close your browser or after a set period of inactivity.
- Persistent login cookies: If you select “Remember Me” when logging in, a persistent cookie is stored so you remain logged in across browser sessions. This cookie has a longer expiration (typically up to 14 days).
- Security cookies: These include nonce tokens that protect form submissions (such as login, registration, contact, and newsletter forms) from cross-site request forgery (CSRF) attacks. They are generated automatically and expire shortly after use.
You cannot opt out of essential cookies and continue to use the site’s account and form features. If you block these cookies, login and form submissions will not function.
Functional and performance cookies
These cookies improve your experience and site performance but are not strictly required for core functionality. They include:
- Navigation cache: We store cached navigation menu data in your browser’s local storage so the site loads faster on repeat visits. This cache does not contain personal information and is automatically refreshed periodically. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
- Scroll and UI state: Certain interface elements (such as the progress bar and back-to-top button) use lightweight in-memory state tracking that does not persist between sessions and does not store personal data.
Analytics cookies
Analytics tools can use cookies or similar browser identifiers to measure page popularity and navigation. Aggregate reports do not make all underlying data anonymous. The Privacy Policy explains the distinction and the separate scope of Google Analytics.
Our limited GA4 integration uses first-party _ga and _ga_* cookies to distinguish browsers and sessions. The configured cookie lifetime is 180 days without extending expiry on each page view. GA4 user-data and event-data retention are set to two months, with reset on new user activity disabled; standard aggregate reports are handled differently. GA4 is limited to public-page usage. It does not record signup or contact submissions, account identifiers, or form values. Signed-in visits and signup, login, account, contact, and form-completion pages are excluded. Advertising features and Google Signals are disabled for this integration.
Cookies We Do Not Use
For clarity, PeptideDosages.com does not use:
- Advertising or targeting cookies: We do not serve ads and do not use cookies to track you for advertising purposes.
- Third-party marketing cookies: We do not allow third-party advertisers or marketing networks to place cookies on our site.
- Cross-site tracking cookies: We do not use cookies or any other mechanism to track your browsing activity across other websites.
- Social media tracking cookies: We do not embed social media widgets that place tracking cookies on your device.
Cookie Duration
Cookies used on our site fall into two categories based on how long they persist:
- Session cookies: These are temporary and are deleted from your device when you close your browser. Session cookies are used for login sessions and form security tokens.
- Persistent cookies: These remain on your device for a set period or until you manually delete them. Persistent cookies are used for the “Remember Me” login feature and local storage caches. Login cookies typically last up to 14 days when you select “Remember Me”. This is not a maximum for every form of browser storage. Local storage is separate from cookies and may persist until refreshed or cleared; refreshing cached content is not the same as deleting storage. GA4 cookies are configured for 180 days without renewing expiry on each page view. The opt-out cookie lasts one year; its matching local-storage preference persists until removed.
How to Manage Cookies
You have full control over the cookies stored on your device. Here are your options:
Google Analytics opt-out
The Analytics opt-out link is in the actual website footer beside the other legal links. You reach it by scrolling to the footer. It opens the control below and does not appear as a floating button, sticky bar, automatic dialog, or popup.
Choose Turn off Google Analytics in this browser to stop subsequent measurement from this integration and remove its GA4 cookies where the browser allows removal. A preference cookie remembers this for one year, with a matching local-storage preference until removed. These preferences contain no name, email, or account ID. The choice applies to that browser and device, not automatically to others. Clearing site data can remove the preference. Opting out does not delete previously collected records. Restore default Analytics setting removes your saved opt-out, subject to browser and technical exclusions.
The limited integration also leaves GA4 off when Global Privacy Control is enabled. These controls apply to this website’s Google Analytics integration only; they do not sign you out, unsubscribe you from the newsletter, or control other websites and services.
Browser settings
All modern web browsers allow you to manage cookies through their settings. You can typically choose to accept all cookies, block all cookies, block only third-party cookies, or delete cookies when you close the browser. The exact steps vary by browser. Consult your browser’s help documentation for specific instructions.
Common browsers and their cookie settings documentation:
- Chrome: Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies
- Firefox: Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings > Cookies and Site Permissions
Clearing local storage
To clear locally stored data (such as our navigation cache), use your browser’s “Clear browsing data” or “Clear site data” function. In most browsers, this is found in the same Privacy or Security settings area as cookie management.
Impact of blocking cookies
If you block or delete essential cookies, certain site features will not work as expected. Specifically:
- You will not be able to log into your account or stay logged in between pages
- Form submissions (contact, newsletter, login, registration) may fail due to missing security tokens
- Any gated content that requires an account will be inaccessible
Blocking functional cookies will not prevent you from browsing the site, but you may experience slower page loads or need to re-accept preferences on each visit.
Optional Analytics and Regional Restrictions
Reading an article, scrolling, or continuing to browse does not constitute consent to optional analytics. A privacy policy or footer opt-out is not a substitute for prior consent where prior consent is required.
During the current temporary worldwide rollout, this integration does not apply country or state exclusions and does not request prior consent through a popup. Measurement can begin on eligible public pages unless you have opted out, Global Privacy Control is enabled, or a technical exclusion applies. Regional controls are not yet active. Visits blocked by an opt-out or Global Privacy Control do not load this integration’s Google tag or send GA4 measurement requests, including cookieless pings.
Optional analytics is not an essential cookie or a condition of access to public content. Account, security, and other website services are described separately in this policy and the Privacy Policy.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use, changes in applicable law, or other operational reasons. When we make changes, we will update the “Effective Date” at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
